Default SQ5 fuel efficiency?

Hey guys, just wanted to see how other SQ5 owners are doing on fuel efficiency. I know I have over 2000 miles on my car, but under some odd circumstances I finally filled up my car from an empty tank for the first time in the US. I did European Delivery on my car and didn't bother to convert the numbers from liters to gallons while I was on my trip.

Now this was only driving in local city conditions with very little or no highway driving on this tank of gas, but my calculated MPG was around 15 MPG. I guess that's not too far off from the official rating of 16 MPG City. Hopefully with some more mixed driving conditions, I'll see that number get over 20 MPG. But I have noticed that when I'm driving locally like at a stop light, I can't help myself gassing the car and leaving everyone behind, so I'm sure that's not helping my MPG.

I get crap for mileage but I'm 80-90% urban city and drive with a heavy foot. 13-17 city and about 23 highway. City is the same as my prior V8 M3 while hwy is 2-3 mpg better.

I have a little over 2300 miles of mostly city driving and I'm getting 18.6 mpg. Not great but it's also about 100 smiles per gallon. Steve

Mileage is hard to compare. Driving style, driving conditions, weather, traffic, all have such a big impact. SQ5 is likely to have a more assertive driving style behind the wheel? : - )

I have about 1200 miles on mine so far...

I do 45 miles a day with it back and forth to work, mixed of highway and stop and go. It is telling me about 18 mpg average over the last 3 tanks of fuel. Not to bad I guess. My C6Z06 Vette would do about the same in the same driving conditions.

Please everyone add your stats to Fuelly.com to get the SQ5 officially added. You can manually enter the model and when Fuelly sees enough of these come in, they'll add that model to the public listing. Right now I suspect owners turn away when they don't see it as a public option - so we need to get over the hump to get it added and then hopefully more will participate. You can read the details here:

Here is a link to the Fuelly SQ5 page:
http://www.fuelly.com/car/audi/sq5/2014

I'm in there but only have 900 of my 1800 miles logged.
