I love taking this car up skiing. On the drive up visibility was really poor and the Adaptive Cruise was maintaining my distance from the car ahead even though I could barely even see the car ahead. It was an awesome safety feature until snow packed up against the radar camera and shut off the ACC.

looks nice. how come you did not just use the ski pass-through in back seat?

My entire family goes up frequently, and I haven't been able to get all four sets of skis and poles through the pass-through. I went up solo yesterday, and since the roof rack was already on the car it was much easier to just throw the skis on top of the car than to wipe them down and put them through the pass-through seat.

On a side note, my 179 cm skis will fit through the pass-through seat such that the tips will just reach the rear seat vents. I have this image in my head of the skis sliding forward into the vent slats and shattering them to pieces. When I use the pass-through, I put my skis inside a ski bag but there's still some room for forward motion. Do you secure your skis with tiedown straps or anything like that?
