2013 allroad steering issues
Hi Folks,
As some of you new AR owners know... I experienced/am experiencing a steering issue. Some of you are as well. Apparently it's also an issue with 2013 A5/S5 models as well

I've also sent off an email to a person I know in the big office at Audi of America to see if this is a known issue around the office and if so... is there anything being done to find a fix.
Fingers crossed!!!

Are you still experiencing notchy, detent-like steering feel even after the steering SW update and an alignment?
If the problem still persists on both our ends, I too will support you and others in letting Audi Corparate know they have a deficient product.

It's still there... just not as pronounced. The big difference is that I can keep it going straight down the road and I'm not fighting the back and forth.

Bummer. I got my 5k check done on Monday and griped about it. They didn't do an alignment but did the SW update.
It didnt change a thing.
I called the service manager back and left a VM. I just need to stop by and have some one else drive along.
I noticed 20mph is the magic number. Above that, off center notchiness is present, sometimes subtle and other times not so subtle.
Compared to the A4 loaner I had on Monday, the steering feel on my allroad is heavier.

notchy steering on new A6
Two month old A6 with 1200 miles and steering just started acting strange. Over 20 MPH gets nothchy / gear type feel each side of top dead center. Feels strange. Have had a series of audis, A6, S4 and a few a4s. never anything like this. Driver mode steeings don't seem to do anything. Anyone else experiencing this?
To the dealer I guess.
