Lap Timer on C7
Hi,
After a bunch of reading (and frustration) with the lap timer/battery gauge VAG_COM changes, I discovered the lap timer has moved to the instrument cluster display and is accessible from the steering wheel controls. It's pretty nice! Hopefully, I can save someone some aggravation looking for it.
I gave up on finding the battery gauge...I don't know if it was pulled for the C7, but it seems nobody has been able to find it. Since I have stop/start, it seemed like a good 'geeky' thing to enable, especially since my last car suffered from persistent charging issues.

Can you post a photo of your laptimer? In the c7 we dont have the buttons in the wiper control for laptimet, also the dis is different. I hope you can help me, and the people in the link below.

The controls used are the ones on the left side of the steering wheel. It's the bottom most menu on the fuel economy tab if I remember correctly.

This seems to be a MY 2013 only feature, MY 2012 does not have the lap timer, oil temp or boost gauge feature.
