Default 3.0T Oil Consumption

Has anyone been monitoring their oil consumption. I have noted a 50% reduction in oil according to the electronic dipstick after 2100 kms (approximately 775 miles). My oil level reads halfway between max and min on the computer display.

I'm down about 1/2 Q after first 4,800 miles.

If I remember correctly a quart is the amount required to fill our 2010 A4 Avant 2.0T from the min. level to the max level. Do you know how much a quart equates to on the A7?

I was almost to the lower limit on the oil level before my 5000mi maintenance.

Now I'm at my 15000mi maintenance and the oil level hardly dropped from the 5000mi oil change.

Forgot to add that the manual mentioned that there may be increased oil consumption during break in.

That makes sense because the rings have to seal during break-in. If sealed properly the engine shouldn't burn much oil. If not then it will always burn oil.
