Default Revo ECU upgrade question

For owners with the Revo ecu upgrade.

When you use the switcher to reprogram my ecu back to stock mode, does the switcher fully remove the Revo program out of the ecu? Or does it remap the ecu back to stock but the Revo program still remain dormant somewhere in the ecu.

From Revo.

"With our switching unit or with any tuner in this market offering switchable software when in stock mode all of the information pertaining to the tune remains in the ecu. The only way to actually go back to 100% stock would require the ecu to be flashed with a true stock file. Unfortunately for your application the ecu is locked from the factory and does not allow port flashing without first removing the ecu and bypassing this lock out. Once it is unlocked it can be flashed over and over again through the port, however if it is flashed to stock the ecu relocks and it would need to be removed again. Only under extreme circumstances do we recommend someone flash the car back to a 100% stock to prevent the ecu from being physically handled too many times."
