Front 2007 S8 bumper

Hello,

My wife took my S8 this morning and, well, the front bumper is not looking good anymore.... It is not completely gone but it is broken in two places and now out of alignment.

Do you guys have any idea what that might cost to repair? Can bumpers even be repaired or do they have to be replaced.

I'll try to post a pic later today or tomorrow. It is not extremely visible but if you look closely, you will see it.

Based on what I gather, I need to replace the bumper (waiting from quote from Audi and an other body shop). I am guessing $1500 - $2000 (the part itself is like $700)

Considering that I will likely sell the car in a few months, the questions is what is the best option from a financial standpoint:

Do I leave it as is
Do I fix and pay myself
Do I fix and get insurance company to pay ($500 deductible + it will show up on Carfax)
