though a Tier 1 gasoline should already be doing a reasonable job there. I Techron my port injected cars w/in every oil change interval in any case; O'Reilley recently had a 2 for 1 sale so I am ready for the next year or two for the fleet.
The Mini w the direct injection ran rough at 20K miles suddenly, and got its first Seafoam blast. Sure enough, cleaned the idle right up--from visibly shaking engine back to smooth by the time I had run the can through and smoked the place up. Thus that was definitely in the intake path rather than injectors/fuel system. I was skeptical until I did it first person.

about twice per oil change cycle, if I remember that is.
Chevron recommendation is 1 oz per gallon. Thus 12 12 oz. bottles for the W12, one 20 oz for the A6. Sold in 12 and 20 oz sizes. The 20 oz'er is close enough for the A8 of course if cheaper. I watch for it on sale or get some qty online.

I went an got a bottle of techron to try it out. I dont expect it to make much difference, I just want to see if that knock dies away.
Tell you what, had one of those moments on the road today, this car is such a pleasure to drive. Worth every $. |

I also got a bottle but will have to wait until the next time I fill up. Only thing I see that would be more advantageous than this would be the BG 44k or the BG 3 step fuel system cleaning.

Today's gases are already treated with some of cleaners, especially premiums, but some more is good too. Of course if somebody is saving a few bucks using regular this would be a huge expense.
