Default Adios Q5 :(

I almost shed a tear when the sales guy drove her away. Alas, trying to cram 3 kids got to the point where my oldest was going to have to climb into her seat from the front and I just couldn't justify keeping it anymore. By far the best resell value of any new car I've owned. Crunching strictly the cost of the car, it was only $173 a month. What a fantastic deal!

Is there a brand new Q7 in your driveway?

Nah. I was never a fan of their 3rd row. I actually got a Toyota sienna. Might not be sporty but it sure is functional. What's funny is every dealer said oh that Q5 is a really nice car why are you downgrading? The sticker on the sienna is actually more than the Q5 i had and I practically paid the same. At least the nav is better and my seats actually get hot

For practicality, the minivan is the only way to go. The only reason people don't get them is because they cannot swallow their egos. They get better mpg than trucks, have more room, and are more flexible. The only advantage with a truck is towing/offroading, which most people don't use anyways. We have owned minivans for 20 years and they are hands down the best for a family. We are only downsizing now because of kids going to college.

Not yet. That would require cleaning out the 3rd bay. In a few years maybe an R8.
