Default OK folks...what do I need to know?

Been an A5 owner for over two years now, and have been loving every minute of it.

Just ordered a Moonlight Blue Metallic 2013 A4 PremPlus, 6-speed manual, Cardamom Beige Interior, with the Sport Package, B&O sound system, and rear deck spoiler for my wife. Picking up a set of 19" Hartman Ti 5-arm-rotor wheels for it as well. Hope to get the car around the end of July.

Anything I should know about the A4 that may be different from my experience with my A5?

2 more doors and over 3" of more rear leg room! Seriously, and I know it's personal, but did you have a chance to see the cardamon beige in person? If you haven't, you must. I had a loaner with the exact interior/exterior colors for a week and at times I could not tell what kind of color that cardamon thing was - light gray, dirty white, or had I just spilled coffee and not cleaned it well, ugh!

Thanks...Yes, there was a 2012 on the showroom floor with it...and you're right...not inspiring...but my wife doesn't want a really dark or black interior. Salesperson said that there may be a darker tan/brown available, but doesn't have enough info from Audi USA right to know for sure. My wife told her that she would much prefer a darker shade...we'll see what happens.

Light grey is an option too.

Default ....and your 2013 Pricing

A5Sport:

How did you handle pricing with the dealer. I know the '13 pricing was supposed to be out in March, and here we are in May. Did you agree to a set amount over invoice?

True...but the woman has a fairly exact idea of how she wants the car to look...so...after being together for nearly 40 years...there will be no questioning of She Who Must Be Obeyed.

Actually...we haven't. No lease pricing yet available.

I'm leasing the car, so I told them how much I want the monthly nut to be. Told them how much I would put down in cash, along with some loyalty money from Audi, and once they get exact pricing form Audi USA, she'll let me know. Don't really care how much the car costs, as long as they hit my target monthly payment.

Did the same with the A5. Told them no money down up front, and meet this monthly payment...they did...and I drove away happy.

Sounds very familiar. Every Christmas or birthday I swear I won't lose my time anymore to buy her designer shoes or stuff other women would beg for, because it will end up back in the store for one reason or another. I keep saying that to myself, but how can I say, woman you've got a job and credit cards, buy yourself whatever Christmas present you want and don't expect me to be part of that process. It sounds kinds rude, doesn't it? She isn't going to buy me a performance exhaust for my car, so why would I have to try to knock her socks off with a Christmas present?

I was looking for the A5 in the beginning but I don't think I can live with a 2-door... I had a 4-door forever and I use the rear door a lot so my order was for the 2013 A4. Besides that and the sun-roof (A5 does not slide) I think they are pretty much the same

Now I'm wondering to change my order to a S4.. Let's see

100% correct ... I switched to cash or gift card long time ago.
Quick and easy and save of hearing her complaints that I don't know her taste.
