You should not have any issues by not performing a TBA. What you may encounter is that sometimes after disconnecting the TB and battery, is that you get an error trying to do a TBA. If you have any issues with idle or the AC will not come on after the repairs, you will need to perform the TBA.
As for this repair, experienced techs don't remove the intake to replace the aux pump. You simply remove the TB and and disconnect the hoses at the front and back that attach to the pump and slide the pump out. |

i have removed tons and tons of throttle bodys, there connector, and disconnected batterys and have had one time the tba is needed. And it sat battery disconnected for 2 months. There have been times where people have had the battery disconnected for like a month or more and then the car wont idle, and its required to re adapt it. I wouldnt not worry about it at all.
