Default Lane assist retrofit - done,

Gents, it is possible to activate the lane assist by coding, if you have side assist and ACC installed. Only hardware you need is a new indicator stock.

Details to follow.

Do you have the part number for the new indicator stock? I will be in Europe next month and would pick it up.

I would so do this. Not because I would use Lane Assist; but because it would be cool to have it....or as JFK would say "We choose to go to the moon (or add Lane Assist) in this decade and do the other things (add Google Street View and Internet Radio), not because they are easy, but because they are hard.."

This may be enough to find a VAG-COM cable.

- needle sweep
- lower all windows with FOB
- DVD while moving
- lane assist

Awesome!

Eagerly waiting for this!!
Do you REALLY need that swap of the indicator? You can enable/disable this in MMI anyway so why bother with indicator swap?

The button on the end of that lever needs to be pushed to start and stop the function. You can only enable or disable the function in MMI but once enabled, the button has to be pushed to activate it.

I would assume this can also be applied to the C7 A6. Could you please confirm?

If "4PK" means $200+ bucks for a pack of 4, I'd be glad to pitch-in a share for one of those.

Just get me clued-in on how to make it happen.
