You may not be able to "polish out" those wear marks from the wipers.
I would consult with a glass shop and see if they could improve the condition. Do you have $0 deductible on windshields in OR? |

Zaino glass polish may work if they are not too deep

There are polishing pads made for windshields that might be worth a shot. Check out the info in this link: http://http://www.autogeekonline.net...-question.html

Thanks for the information. I'll see where I can find the proper glass polish. What I've used so far just doesn't cut it.

Your best bet is to probably check with a reputable glass shop in the area. Your insurance agent should be able to give a list of who participates in their programs.
Anytime I've had minor scratches I've carefully polished the glass with Bon Ami Cleanser with very good results. I painter's tape off the trim and mix the Bon Ami with water to get a decent paste like consistency and gently buff by hand. Afterwards I've followed up with Rain-X and (most importantly) changed the wiper blades. Hasn't performed miracles by any stretch, but worked out nicely on a few occasions.
