Default Valve cover and tensioner replacement

Hi,

I'm contemplating DIY'ing the valve cover and chain tensioner gaskets. Are any special tools required?

How about the cam seals? Should they be done at the same time?
does that require removal of the timing belt and gears?

I have a growing oil leak and am still searching for the origin of the leak. When parked uphill there's a prety good drip showing up at the bottom of the bellhousing.

When the car is parked downhill the leak seems to stop.

Thanks for any advice.

Well for the gaskets no you dont need to touch the timing belt stuff. It makes it alot easier for the drivers side one. Cam plugs on the back of the heads leak. Also the drain pipes from the turbo to the upper oil pan will leak like crazy too.
