My New A6 is Arriving!!

I ordered my 2012 Audi A6 the 2nd wk of February, and it has just arrived at the dealer today. I will pick-up on Tuesday and cannot wait!

2012 A6 Prestige
Quartz Grey
Titaniom Grey Interior
20" Sport Pkg
LED's
Side Assist
Cold Weather Pkg
Brushed Aluminum

I have been following this forum and the great advice from other members. Things that have worked well:
1.) Info on how to track your car to the port and get details on the actual ship it left on worked great
2.) Was able to actually talk to somebody at the port who provided details on my VIN and when it was going on a truck. Was also given info that it was "on quality hold" for 1 day to fix a video upload issue. No idea what it was, but it was fixed!
3.) Great feedback rec'd on how to qualify for the $500 Audi club cash, even if not a member for 6months. I am now a member, and hope to collect my $500 soon!
4.) Discussions on the correct ipod cable. Not sure which one this car will have, but will make sure to ask for the RED one.

That's really nice that the dealer took pictures for you.

I would be camped out at the dealers over the weekend with a lawn chair and a cooler...

Congrats, I see that Audi does a real nice job of protecting their new cars. My salesman told me that Audi spend something like $400 on car protection for each new delivery.

Congrats! There's a beast lurking under all of that protection. Really amazes me how fast an ordered car can be built and shipped. You will love it - it's the best car I have ever owned by far.

Must be nice to have a dealer willing to take photos for you ... mine couldn't even get me a diet soda while I was filling out the paper work to purchase the 60K car. They pointed me toward the waiting area where I had to pay $1.50 for the Coke.

and congrats on the new ride. If you have a laptop, cell phone or other PED bring them with you and have the dealer hook you up during the walk thru. Enjoy!

Very nice. I wonder if they let you keep the wrapping? I know, totally lame but would be cool. Looks like its cloth or is it some sort of durable paper?
