Not at all. It was on a public highway that the driver nearly got himself and possibly other people killed.

The lil F-er nearly wrapped the car around the front of my tractor trailer grossing in the neighborhood of 77,000lbs. Then proceeded to play chicken with two other trucks, one of which nearly lost a 46,000lb steel coil avoiding him. Broke two of six chains and had to get a crane to reposition the coil.

Nice car driven by a complete JA.

Did you report him to the troops, Keith?

I. Don't understand why people drive like that on a public roadway.

Yeah. The issue is that since the driver of the flatbed was good enough to save the load no accident actually occured. So nothing the State Police can do. The report they made was a courtesy so the trucking company doesnt hold the driver responsible for the cost of chains and the crane.

I'd think the license plate number also would go into their records in the event it showed up at another accident.

Anyway, good that you're OK, Keith. Are you hauling miscellaneous loads or driving for one employer?

About 90% of our freight is through a couple of local manufacturers. We also deal with a few selected national brokerages for general freight coming back into the area when we need it.
