I just like the kwaf software....easier for me to follow and track. Here a thread comes back from the dead that might be 4 years ago on occassion, and I can't figure out what I've read and what I haven't.

I think it's best if a thread has a life and then dies. If it's important, create a FAQ and link it there.

I think that old treads should be accessible for search but locked since most of the people are not around anymore and no point asking them anything.

On the other hand starting ever new tread on the same subject makes it busy. But isn't that what the owner likes?

I'll write something up in the next couple of days. I finished installing the relay today. Only took about an hour, because I was taking pictures, and being very careful with the trim. If I had to replace the relay again, it would probably take 20 minutes. I started the car up, and took it out of lift mode, and went through all the ride heights and everything seems to be working fine. I'll take it for a drive later.

The smell I was getting in the car definately was from the compressor. I took the old one apart, and wait till you see the pictures. All kinds of debris came falling out.

Paul, PM me your e-mail, and I will send you the pictures with a write-up.

Doug

this will be really helpful. How many miles do you have on your car Doug?
I think for $400, I might have one of these on the shelf ready to go.

I've got one on the shelf for the next time mine fails. Yes, it will fail.... again. However, $400.00 is a lot of money to have lying a shelf. Let someone else carry that inventory.

Can anyone describe what the "Crap" that came out of the old compressor is? Is that the magnets that disintegrated, or part of the motor that was eaten up?
