transmission mounts and drivetrain service

What is a reccommended service interval for the drive train, like the center drive shaft and differentials?

also, always have had this thing where when i step on the gas or let off the car kind shakes front to back, i also noticed on a qick/hard shift today some movement in the transmission, could this be a problem attributed to worn mounts or is some play acceptable?
fwiw i have the 6spd.

sorry for all the questions lately, just dont have alot of experience with the drive train on these cars, the engines (minus the turbos) are a cake walk, im actually surprised how hassle free it has been (knocks on wood) lol

bump for any more info, the manuals really leave out the motor and transmission mounts. any way to test them would be appreciated
