My thoughts are if you need financing/loan to buy an allroad with a blown engine (not worth much), then I don't see how you are ready to deal with the costs of a Stage III build and general allroad ownership. There is a reason the allroad gets a bad rep for being expensive to maintain and keep going as it gets older, and that's because it's true. I just want to make sure you have considered all of the costs before jumping in to this project.

You'll definitely need to get Hotchkis sway bars for it to improve the handling.

He gave me a price for the finished stage 3 car and I took a note out on the ammount, that's how I could have paid cash for the AR with the blown motor no problemo haha. I understand these cars are costly to maintain but my friend runs a small shop and he rarely works on anything that isn't an Audi. He also lets me work with him and does the labor at a nice price for me. Trust me I am fully prepared for this thing to be a cash pit but I have a very soft spot for these vehicles

Default Old Drivetrain Out

The old drivetrain is now out, turbos, downpipes and some other msc parts have been delivered, ECU going out for a tune today. clutch and flywheel should be in tomorrow or Friday.

On the leaking bag note, got under there and the hoses were disconnected, hooked em up and it pumped right up

My apologies for the delay, the build is %95 complete. Just got an inspection sticker lat week This thing is a beast, I dont have all my pics but I'll leave you with a teaser, its snowing up here in New Hampshire today so I think I'll be having some fun!

But for a short list of mods, I'm running K0'4s, 52lb ev14's injectors, silicone piping, 3" downpipes, no cats, 85mm MAF housing, upgraded diverter valves, intake, Audi S4 01e MT, Stage 4 clutch, gen 2 arnotts and the list goes on

I'll get more pics up ASAP!

Click the image to open in full size.

Best,

Mike
