Default 2010 A4 premium w/ over 60K miles Manual

Looking to buy from dealer. No certified warranty for xtra 2 years. Asking $24K, negotiating currently at $22.5K.
Has Heated seats, no xenon, nor bluetooth , nor AMI.
White on black.
Spark plug, air and cabin filters just changed.
Need to look at serviceable life of brake pads, rotors and tires.
KBB says retail value is ~$27.5K.

Good deal or not.

I would say "not". I was recently talking with a friend of mine who works at an Audi dealership and he said my car (2010 A4 Prem Plus, 50,000 miles) maybe would sell for 22k tops to a private seller. 20k to a dealer. And it does have xenon, bluetooth, AMI.

here is what you do. Skip all those bull**** salesman, ask for the financial manager, or the sales manager, prefer financial manager, if they are the same, i dunno, ask for a the head manager.

Once you get a hold of him/her and talk to him ask the following: (Only to manager)
1. Ask for dealer invoice, if he/she wont give it to you, then just walk out. Go to another dealership with another audi you like
2. Once they give you a dealer invoice, bargain from there and down if you can. Anything else after this is all up to your decision and negociating skills.

thats it. Simple as that. Good luck OP

I don't know about dealers showing invoice (and I'm not sure what that means on a used car) but I'd say 'not a good deal'. In the NYC area, a friend just checked out a 09 certified premium with 20k miles for $26k asking, $24k probable, very clean car.

Don't buy a used car from a dealer. There are people out there that can buy from the auction. My brother-in-law just bought a 2004 Audi S4. Lots of dealers we found wanted between $16,000 and $17,000 for the cars with similar mileage. We found a place that buys cars at the auction. They charged $500. He ended up getting the car for $10,500 out the door. Tax, tag, everything.

I went to two different dealers to see what my 2012 A4 Premium Plus 8-speed with 7,000 miles was worth. Both dealers said they'd only give me $28,000. So if a used 2012 A4 is worth only $28,000, then a 2009 is worth SIGNIFICANTLY less. Every time I've ever traded a car, they always seem to be worth about 50% MSRP after 2-3 years no matter how perfect the condition. You need to lowball the dealer hard. FORGET RETAIL PRICING. Don't work from retail pricing down. Work from wholesale pricing UP! Play hardball with those people or WALK! AutoTrader is FLOODED with Audi's.

2009 Audi A4 Quatto $19999 25k Mi.

2009 Audi A4 Quattro $22,886 25k im.

It would be cheaper to get these cars from the Auction at maybe $17-18k. Find an auction broker in your area that has the dealer's license. They move cars cheap. They'll show you pictures and stuff. Get a green light car. Those are inspected at the auction and are good to go.
