see if the apr guys have a contact for a mod friendly dealer. my tuner(s) are both certified audi technicians that previously worked for dealers. they have several service advisors and technicians that they know that will help me out for warranty issues.
Got mine tinted 30% all around. Looks nice, but it's darker than the legal limit. Virginia is 50% front and 35% rear. The guy at the shop said you can go up to 7% darker than legal and be ok due to some discrepancies in rating between different manufacturers. So, I am ok in the back, but not in the front. The guy at the shop said, I shouldn't get pulled over for the tint, but if I do get pulled over for something else and cop wants to be a pain, then I could get a ticket. Hope I don't get pulled over. :-)

you can barely tell the difference between 30 and 35 unless you see it side by side. you should be fine.

LOL. Maybe it's more common than I thought. I've never seen it in Cali. The most common here is 5, 20, 35, 50.

Maybe 18 is common for residential or commercial.

18 is absolutely ridiculous. I like 30 or 35. I have seen people playing around with the color of film tint. Some have very classy looks.

Close. I went with 18% as I have white interior in my car so it doesn't look that dark.

No, 5% is ridiculous. You have to take the interior of the car into account also. 30-35% would not have looked like much against my white interior.

4 days? They have to trace out the entire electrical system for this?

Hope you get her back soon.
