Just an update:

window tint to be lightened on friday.
apr pulley kit and stage 2 ecu ordered and scheduled for monday.
h&r sways, front and rear ordered and hopeful will be installed while car is in the shop monday.
going to try out ST coilovers. they are owned by kw so i hope the quality is decent. i've heard good things. the specific ones for this car are backordered, but should ship on 4/30.
when all this is done, i have to make an appointment with VMR to test fit some 701's in 19x9.5, if not, i'm going with 19x8.5.

My only other Audi was a 2003 Daytona Gray RS6 with GIAC Stage 3 and some Milltek and Sportec bits.

In any case, I'm pretty happy with the car so far. Coming from a handful of high powered sedans, the car could use a little kick. It also feels a little soft in the corners and a tad bit nose heavy. Cosmetically, in typical Audi fashion it is very clean and understated. I think only a few possible little things could make this car look better. Any feedback or suggestions are welcome.

I have already purchased the APR pulley kit and Stage 2 ECU. Hopefully they will be installed by weeks end.
What exhaust options are out there? Are there any full set-ups off the shelf? I'm also contemplating getting a custom one built similar to the one on my Allroad.
Are any of the CAI's worth it? I know alone it's not noticeable, but what about in a full bolt-on application?
Although, I didn't see it on their website, I'm assuming that Hotchkis makes sways for this car.
Thinking about a Stoptech BBK. Anyone know if the stock A6 assembly would transfer to my Allroad?
I'm leaning toward some VMR wheels - either the 19" 701's or 713's. I'm also looking at BBS. Is anyone running a wider tire than 245?
The orange markers need to go. I saw that the A3 markers fit. I'm debating on clear, smoke or paint.
The car has limo tint in the back now. It's too dark for me. Probably going to do 35% all around.
Probably going to put a clear bra on the front. Any reason to do the whole car?
Trunk lid lip, S6 blades - yea or nay?
I also notice that my car does not have the "supercharged" fender badges. Did this only come with certain models?
Lastly, has anyone blacked out the chrome trim around the windows?

I know that this is a great community and I am looking forward to your responses.

I think H&R is only provider for sways
Be careful w the trunk lip.. Early c6 trunks dont have a built in bump out (sline) and some lips/spoilers on market may not fit 100%
I love Black out trim plus your aluminum will probably develop discoloration like many of us.

I've seen full paint n vinyl used ...plasti dip and even heard of 3m electrical tape

Don't forget the trim on lower doors unless u swap out for S6 blades wich won't have silver trim.

W OEM 19s Audi puts on 255 35
I've seen 265 30s run on some 20s

GL. Keep the posts coming
And would love the feedback on how u like the SCV6 vs V8.

yeah, i'm going with H&R
still on the fence about the lip. i will probably only do it if i have other aero work done.
now i'm debating on blacking out the trim since there is also trim on the bottom of the doors and the door handles. i've had a totally murdered M5 and the wifey didn't like it. i'm wondering if i could wrap it all in a satin vinyl. but then maybe it would just look oxidized. LOL
blades are on the fence with the trunk lip.
will 255's fit on a 8.5 rim? i'm going to test fit a 9.5 rim soon. i just hope that it won't be too wide up front. i love quattro, but would prefer a staggered set up.
i'll provide feedback, but i've never driven the 4.2. i'm sure this "build" will not hold a candle to the TTV8.

255s fit on 8.5. ... It's common set up

9.5 wide should be ok... Some even have done 10s

The S6 stock is 9 wide

Offset will determine a lot.

The R8 has a staggered set up... Not sure if something is engineered and added to the Quattro system for it.

Not sure if it helps but maybe u could get staggered wheels but run same tire sizes all around... Or maybe keep the rolling diameter real close...

I'm thinking the Quattro system has some flexibility to it...

But then there are people out there that shave tread off new tires to get more uniform fit...

Thanks for info. The ET on the 8.5 is 35, the 9.5 would be 45 at this point.

Keep posting pics. I'd like to see your smoked markers. Does anyone know if those A3 markers would also fit on an '06? I would think so if they fit yours.
