Default New tires on 2012 TTS

Hi all,
After 4 month waiting, my TTS finally arrived. Everything is great and I have two things would like to check with friends on this forum

1) surprisingly, it's not using continental tires. Now it's using Toyo PROXES T1 Sport tire(Japanese tire). Anyone has any idea of how this tire performs?

2)In the following picture, there is a notch around my key hole. Is this normal or a defective part?

Thanks a lot for any input.

Bests,
Aasa

Same here, Pirreli Pzero Rosso,
A+ for those tires (2k on the cluster now)

Speed rating: W --> 168 mph

Treadwear: 200 --> low wear rate for a performance tire

Traction: AA --> The traction grade is based on a straight-ahead wet braking traction test. The comparative tire grade letters, AA, A, B, and C (AA being the highest and C being the lowest)

Temperature:A --> represent the tire's resistance to the generation of heat and its ability to dissipate heat (A being the highest and C being the lowest)

eltook, I have mine in plastic bags as I put on Conti DWS for the winter.
I read reviews on Tire Rack, which were very bad, so I was thinking of selling mine. Please, keep posting your "live" reviews as time goes by.
After what you said, I think I will not try to sell mine...yet.

O, and thank you.
