Default Third-Party Headunit

So, my '02 S4 had its 10-year anniversary earlier this year and I wanted to surprise it with a new headunit. I really want to try one of those Android-based headunits that are coming out of China. Does anyone know if something like this would work?

I asked the manufacturer and they had no idea. They said that the only thing that mattered was the dimensions. I've read on this forum that some guys here have used a Pioneer Avic-D3 which is 7" x 4" x 6.5". This unit is 183 mm x 100 mm x 170 mm which translates to 7.2" x 3.9" x 6.7".

I'm not well-versed on car audio so is there anything else I need to be considering here?

it should work fine, it says it is a double din head unit which is what our cars are. You will need to get the wiring harness and plastic adapter piece to fill in the trapazoid shape space but it should work fine. I had the Audi RNS-D Nav in my car, then switched to the Pioneer AVIC-D3 in my S4 and than upgraded to the Pioneer FT-700BT a couple years ago.

this is always another option, http://www.dynavin.com/products/product_dnv_a4.php ...i don't know of anyone who has used it and not sure if it would work for our cars, i know it's a little more money, but i like that it keeps a semi-factory look to it
