Need Help to Pass Salvage Inspection!!!

So I picked up a nice A6 quattro with some rear quarter panel as with a salvaged title. I love it so far but to pass inspection I need a few things...

#1 - I need to get the E-brake to work, its very very tough to pull up, I can only get it a click or two up and it doesn't stop the car from rolling.

#2 - only the passenger side mirror will adjust, no matter which button is pushed.

Now both of these I could probably start to figure out if I could get the damn interior trim out.... Grrr...

oh yea, I got the radio out but that's about it.. I need to get the mirror adjust panel thingey out too...

IIRC, the rear view mirror adjustment switch has a screw that secures it. With the radio out, reach around the radio opening and push the switch out from its socket.
