MMI 3G VIM Problem

Hey there!

I have a 2012 Audi Q5 and I VagCom'd it so that I have VIM enabled.

Now I can watch regular DVDs that I have purchased in a store without a problem, no freezing no pauses and completely smooth.

However the problem arises when I try and watch DVDs that I have burned myself.
The DVD would play but would periodically freeze for seconds or a minute randomly before resuming play.

Maybe it is the way I'm burning the DVDs or the files or the settings but have any of you guys run into the same problem? Here's what I'm doing..

I download music videos off of Youtube and get an .avi file.
Then I burn the .avi files onto a DVD using DVDFlick. (Should I burn as NTSC or PAL?)
The MMI reads it as a DVD and plays it but I always run into random freezes and pauses in the DVD.

Do you guys have any suggestions or fixes to this issue? Maybe a program you use or setting you use that have given you problem free playback??

Hi !

I have an A5 2012 and wondering how did you get the login code to make the VIM mod?

I tried the generator find on trick77 but my unit (2012) seems to be to recent for this generator...
