yes it would work but your best bet is to invest in a lsd:wavetrac,quaife...
you will get traction a lot better . |

please sir, do not do anything drastic. Please go to tirerack.com, and then pick up the phone and call them and ask what you want to do with your tires, in this case drag.
235"=17 inche rims 245=18 inches.Hope that helps

235 and 245 are actually the width of the tire in millimeters. It doesn't have anything to do with rim diameter. The next number I believe in the tire size designation is the profile exposure as a percentage of the tire width. For example: a 245/35 has a lower profile than a 245/40.
