Default UrS4 auto trans dipstick

Hello there, I have a '94 UrS4 with automatic transmission (model CBF), I'm trying to find more information about the dipstick to suit my transmission part number 01F321431B. Im located in New Zealand and I have tried to get this dipstick from local parts dealer, who tried to order it form Germany but apparently they don't sell it anymore..so I'm trying to find the exact measurements of the dipstick so I could make my own, does anyone have one or the measurements? thanks

Hmmm...most people on this forum are from NAmerica and we did not get *any* automatic UrS4s or UrS6s. Hence, no responses. The other thing is there *might* NOT be a dipstick for the auto trans fluid level. I have a 98 C4 V6 quattro avant with the auto box and it does NOT have a dipstick (theory is they are sealed for life). All that said, private mail me here (to give me your email off-line) and I will get you in contact with a fellow in New Zealand with a 94 automatic trans UrS4 so you can quiz him.

I have been in contact with MT in NZ. He doesn't have a dipstick either. You need more than just the actual dipstick, i.e. you need the filling tube. This diagram *might* be helpful. Item 38, the dipstick was also used on the very early Audi A8s, e.g. 1994 A8 in Europe.

checked today and according to the Dunedin dealer there are four dipsticks available in Auckland at the Audi/VW warehouse. Part #01F 321 431 A is correct.

Cost is $71.17

Dave, the filling tube is on the car with a plug (item 37) at the top so Lomax should only need the dipstick.

Your dealers will be looking at diagram 321-70 (for a A10Q). The 01F 321 431 A is for CBF transmissions in UrS4s with VINs up to 4ARN033426.
The 01F 321 431 B is for CBF transmissions for UrS4s with VINs starting at 4ARN033427 and higher. What the exact difference is, I can't tell you. (Sorry)

Yes this is exactly what I was told by the parts dealer here in Auckland, and according to my VIN (4ARN072xxx) I need the dipstick pt.# 01F 321 431 B.
I was able to find one in Europe and it is on its way to me right now. It ended up being about 20 dollars cheaper even with the shipping too.

And yes I only need the dipstick as I have the tube with a plug on it.

I should be getting the dipstick this week so hopefully I will be able to finally have the correct ATF level in my transmission.

Anyway thanks a lot for your help guys!
