I was thinking about a tune or a chip or something that will get me beating that kia. Any suggestions? my friend has a GTI and he got a APR chip and his is alot faster now. i need some more performance for around 500. The car does look great though.
Hey Bud I'm in the mix of making my 06 B7 faster myself. I have added a custom exhaust which is actually making it run worst because is not tuned yet (the car is running a little rich).

I'm going to the track this friday to get BONE stock run on the 1/4 mile. Not today but next tuesday I'm actually going to a company that is local to me called Velocity Factor. I'm schedule to do Revo Technik ECU Stage 2, Custom Air Intake with a closed out box and also air vent from the bottom of the car for better breathing, and Upgraded Stainless DownPipe for the turbo. After is all installed early next week I will go back to do a an other run to check the Improvement.

Just to have an idea of the cost is $1700.00 with all the items meant ion above and installed.

APR Stage 1 gives about 40 hp...I just did it to my car and the thing is a lot more fun. Still very good on the street and well behaved, but a bunch more pull.

OP, from what i understand about force induction, you dont need a custome exhaust. Waste of money IMO. also the custom air box, also a waste. Your airbox, with german engineering, can probably hold up to until 400whp, 350+ if any.

Get your stainless DP (downpipe) but you have to choose catless or high flow cat. If catless, learn your state emmission law. Then a tune stg2. or go e85. never really saw a german car running e85 .....
