pretty basic, remove the lower balljoint from the spindle, remove the tie rod from the spindle. Remove the bolts holding the strut to the spindle. remove Brake caliper and rotor. Pull it off.

You forgot to mention that you need to remove the axle nut from the hub. Afterward pull the axle out.
