Default TSW Nurburgring Rims on white 2012 Audi TT

I have been looking at these rims for my ibis white 2012 audi tt. I think they look great, but want other opinions. Also is tsw a good company, I'm not to into rim companys, but I do know that these are like $300 a rim so they better be pretty good quality. I also provided a picture that I Photoshopped with the rims on the car, lemme know what you think.

Looks like they're a shade under 20 lbs (quite light) but I'd be a bit concerned with respect to the 8" wheel width. Seems to me that an OEM sized 255 tire would be too wide and although I have no personal experience with this, I've read on other forums that handling can be compromised when sidewalls are not properly supported (i.e.: wide tires on narrow wheels). For what its worth, I'm running 245's on an 8.5" wide Neuspeed wheel (20 lbs) ...

Who doesn't like pics ??

So even though discount tire says they will fit the car in reality they may not fit properly? Obviously I want to keep the same tires that are on my car now just swap rims, so how do I know the wheel dimensions, etc, so I am 100% sure before buying anything. Stevelev, nice TTS also are those rims 18" or 19"?

The 8" wide wheels will fit but that wasn't my point - handling may be compromised. I would think that Discount Tire or any online seller would guarantee this or allow one to return their purchase.

Thx for the compliment. I decided to go with the 18" Neuspeeds as they are quite light (8lbs lighter than the 19's) and 18" tires are lighter, less expensive and offer a slighter softer ride. I can now leave mag ride on all the time and not feel the jarring on rough roads ...

TSW is an OEM supplier to BMW.

They make very good value wheels, my wife's 3 series has TSW's from the factory and they have been very good for the past 5 years. They are made in South Africa.

i would not hesitate to buy them or any of their associated brands like Victor for porsche for example.
