Go to 17"wheels with some sidewall, if they will clear your brakes.
Or 18" if you must. Over-size by one size (e.g.: from 245/40 to 255/40) Simple G

Many All Seasons will have a stronger side wall. Gary can probably comment on suggestions.
The choice is also to watch your driving habits till the holes get repaired.
