Default AP Racing 380mm brake kit installed

I can't say enough good things about the guys at 034 Motorsports. They build racecars, they know everything about VW and Audi, and they have a machine shop and fabrication area that rivals any vendor I've ever seen. They can build their own flywheels and turbo housings from high quality steel bars and blocks on their lathes. It's an incredible operation. They even have a 4 wheel dyno. The shop is as big as a small dealership.

Anyway, here's my new brakes. I'll be giving them a workout at Buttonwillow in April.

Did not weigh this but when I was doing research someone on Audizine had. The rotor is 5 pounds lighter and the caliper is 5 pounds lighter. So -20 pounds off the front axle. So I think the entire assembly was like 55 and is now -10, so down to 45.

The rotor was 13.5" and is now 15".

B8 S4 Rotor - 345mm - 23.4#

B8 S4 Caliper - single piston - 17.4#

RS5/R8 Rotor - 365mm - 24.4#

RS5/R8 Caliper - 8-piston - 11.4#

I looked at the AP kit from Stillen (which I liked as well) and know the calipers were a little lighter than the 8-pot brembos I went with but there was little/no rotor weight difference iirc. Ill see if I can find the email from them.

looks good! I'm guessing you upgraded the lines and fluid too? IMHO prob the weakest link in the brakes we have now. That, or the pads.

Did your 19 peelers clear the bbk fine or did you need spacers?

Kit comes with SS lines and RBF600. Have to change that fluid every 6-12 months because it is hydroscopic.
