Default WARNING about Commonwealth Audi/VW

Heads-up to all about Commonwealth Audi/VW in Santa Ana, CA. This dealership damaged my car with their careless use of an impact wrench while in for repairs. I took the car to a different dealership to have the damage fixed and sent Commonwealth the repair bill, which was over $900. They did not reply, so I sued them. They did not show up for court and I was awarded the full cost of repairs. They did not appeal the judgment. They did not pay the judgment as ordered by the court. They did not send a statement of assets as ordered either.

Turns out that Commonwealth Audi/VW uses an out-of-State bank in Ohio TO HELP THEM AVOID PAYING JUDGMENTS since California judgments are not enforceable in other States unless you get a sister-State judgment. Then you have to get the sheriff in Hamilton County Ohio to do a bank levy. This is the way Commonwealth Audi/VW operates, and you have a right to know this before they do the same to you.
