2013 A6 - Expected Changes

Parking Assist
Step down B&O system option as found in my A4 for around $1000

I'll be ordering a 2013 A6 as soon as the price list is out. (Decided not to be an early adopter this time).

It's unlikely that they will change the engine/trans combo at this time (too expensive) or add anything that doesn't exist in other parts of the world.

wifi streaming? or bluetooth streaming. this already available.

Wifi streaming where the MMI can browse through media stored on a unpn device that is connected to the car's wifi network.

Audi.de has an app that can stream internet radio and is supposed to be controlled via MMI 3G+ (but also works standalone). This would allow you to keep the iPhone/iPod connected to the AMI (for charging), connected to the car's wifi (for Internet) and choose favorite radio stations via MMI/steering wheel.

Thats a good list, especially the sport seats. In my opinion, the upgarde Bose system in the A6 sounds better than the B&0 in the A4.

Unlock the damn 2012 car from using T-Mobile for data features. And this can easily be done with a software upgrade. G-Man, wasn't someone from Audi going to call you on that?

Don't want to hijack this thread but in response....

I was at my dealer last week and did an A/B comparison of the Bose in the A6 and my A4 B&O and I would humbly disagree. My B&O was far better in every way. Even my wife, who is almost tone deaf and normally can't tell the difference between AM and FM, heard the difference right away. Cleaner and tighter throughout and a much wider dynamic range on the A4 B&O. They didn't have an A6 w/B&O available to compare that day but that's my next task.

Again, my wish list for 2013 would be to add a duplicate of my A4 B&O in the A6. I'm sure this won't be likely on Audi's upgrade list though.

A couple of reason why the Bose in the A6 didnt sound as good as your B&O. You didnt have enough time to adjust the Bose system to get the best sound. The Bose system was brand new and needed to wear in a bit. You also need to shut off the Bose surround sound to get the best sound quality.
I had a A4 loaner with B&O for a week, the B&O system was ok, worth about what Audi charge for it, $850. The Bose system in the A6 is just ok as well, no better or worst than the B&O in the A4.
Audio systems are like flat screen TV, you really have to play with it for a while to get the best sound or picture quality.
