Unless the engineers really missed the mark, there is limited gain on a cai..
we only have a little 2.0 liter engine - a cai won't make it a 3 liter

Yes, the dragsters that are looking for EVERY .00001 hp use them, but they tweak tunes to exacting levels to get every ounce of power out of them. But at what cost ? they rebuild their engines every run!

I would stay away from any oiled filters if that is what you are considering as they will oil up your maf and create all kinds of fun for you !

If you are intent on getting one, ensure it intakes cooler air OUT of the engine bay at the front of the vehicle, but does not allow for water /snow ingestion....

good luck...

I put an aFe cai on my 2007 2.0T and it does nothing for turbo lag, however I do notice a difference when I stomp on it like getting on the highway. Mine is a 51-11722 with the Pro-Dry grey filter. A snap to install. Overall I am glad I bought it. (Switched from a K&N drop-in and got a real good price on the aFe)> I would not pay $300.00, they're just not worth it.
