Default Realistically how much can I sell the allroad for?

2003 audi allroad with 144k miles, 2.7t, automatic, runs excellent. Xenon lights, cd changer, sunroof, has about 10+ pages of records from Audi. I know there are sources like kbb, nada but what is the real market value for such a car. It has no issues that I'm aware of it. What price should I command? I don't need a wagon or else I would not be selling.

I think alot depends on where you sell it. I know the demand for allroads is much greater in the Sierras here and in places like Colorado but not as much in places like Texas.

Looking at the SF bay area market for allroads I'd say here it's worth about 8,500.

Well I'm in the Northeast (connecticut) It can get real rough out here, especially in the back country. $8500 sounds good to me.

As a point of reference, I bought a grey 2002 2.7 auto (100k mi) in Los Angeles for $7500 about 6 months ago... and if I could afford to be more patient, I could have found something for less. My car had current records, new tires, and a recent TB job... and it was a CA car its whole life, so there's not a speck of rust to be seen on the undercarriage.

Default I'm in CT, too...

...and looked a long time for an allroad. I looked at many in your condition, and they ranged from 6.5k up to 7.5k-ish. There's been one (2001, auto) sitting at an upscale used car lot here for about 6 months, 113k miles, for $7,500. Could probably get it for 6k.

Being a 2003 helps (in my experience looking), 144k miles hurts, but those 10 pages of dealer reciepts might quell any fears. Big worries with high miles is tranny, torque converter, and suspension.

This is coming from someone who looked a long time before buying, doesn't mean you COULDN'T get 8.5k, I just think the market here in CT won't support that price.

Do you need to get 85 for it? At 65 or 70 it would prolly sell quickly.

I listed the car at $7500 but I am neg on the price. I'm looking at getting an M5 e60 as I really do not have any use for a wagon. Car will be detailed and the driver seat was just replaced.

I was offered $6000 for the allroad, the car is a 2003 and has 145k miles.

The GOOD:

-Looks excellent for the year and miles
-$700 worth of tires installed
-Runs like a champ, so hesitation, smooth as hell.

The bad
-Abs, flashing brake light, suspension light and esp light are on which is due to fault with ABS module I believe
-Valve gasket is leaking (common)
-Vibration on passenger side upon acceleration

The question that remains is: Do I let my beloved AR go for $6000, what do you guys think?

If you have a buyer for 6k, and you dont need a wagon, than sell it, and wish him good luck. sounds like you need an axle with that vibration up front.

An axle could be purchased for $150 or so, it's not going to break the bank but at same time I don't know what the labor costs are going to be.
