Default 2006 A3 3.2 Idle Issue

Having some idle issues with my 3.2. It seems to be idling low (600rpm) and the car rumbles a bit.

It was previously jumpy (600-1200 or so) and had a check engine light that turned out to be an oxygen sensor, so thought that was the issue, but after the o2 sensor fix it still idles low and rumbles.

Read that it might be a timing chain issue (stretched timing chain)?? But seems that a timing chain fix is $3k plus

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe it's carbon build up? See link below.
