Default Audi Winter Driving Experience?

Anyone been to this:

http://www.audi.ca/ca/brand/en/exp/a...xperience.html

How much is it? Is it worth while? I like the new S4 but I'm a bad fit. I'm 100% sure I won't fit with a helmet (my hair grazes the roof line in the B8 A4).

Default Its expensive (as are all North American Audi "experiences" unfortunately.)

I highly recommend an Audi Club event (both Snow or track driving) - New Hampshire / Quebec I believe in the snow - major track lapping in the summer.

If you really want an experience ... just did a 3 day Germany Audi Experience albeit a little different: 3 days, hotels, food and unlimited use of an R8 5.2 Spyder.

On the Autobahn with unlimited mileage allowance (and unlimited speed of course

Check out the Audi Club events if you've not already. Better value.

I went last year and it was certainly not worth the $300.00 and some they charge for it. I did not take the hotel package as I live nearby. Most of the people who were attending did not pay a dime, they were invited by their dealer, hotel and meal included ! But if you have to pay, I do not think it is worth it to pay this money to do a few laps on a ice rink. Do not expect any type of worthwhile coaching. It is more like: here do two laps on this course and brake here, then give the keys to the guy sitting next to you for his turn. You change cars at every different course, so you can try a A8, a Q7, a S4...

The most fun was a ride with a rally driver in an original 1980 Audi Quattro: SCARY !!!

I am 6'4" and only had problems fitting for the rally ride, since it is the only event you need to wear an helmet.

If you have the money, it is O.K. but not much more than that. A few years back I followed a BMW training class and it was a lot better. I think Audi is only trying to show off their cars and Quattro and makes you pay for it...

Default ADE will be worth it 2012!

Hey Guys... The Audi Driving Experience Winter edition 2012 will be worth it!

A new company has taken over the program and its going to be the best advanced driving experience in the country this year. This time around, drive-time is a priority!

Scott Goodyear (and depending on the day Richard Spenard) will be there! Are you kidding me?! These guys are Canadian racing legends!

It's too bad to hear of a previous bad experience, but its surely different this year!

Here's the website... http://theaudiexperience.ca.

Richard Spenard was there last year also and it is true that he is quite nice, but it was far from "advanced driving"!!!

Fun to drive all those fancy cars on snow and ice, but personally I do not think it is worth the money they are asking for.

This year, they are even closer to my house, I might drop by just to take a look.

Default For $399 you can do 2 full days at Watkins Glen with ACNA

Yes - those are great instructors - too bad its not at a world class facility nor more than a couple of hours long. (I am sure they'd prefer that as well.)

Audi just does not seem to care enough to give us the real Audi Experience on track ala the Experiences they offer in the U.S. or Europe.
