To be honest, I can hardly look at an RS4 with the egg-yoke corners still in-place.

Regarding the LED strips, when Audi first started doing them, they were waay cool. I think they're still cool if they came OEM on an Audi. Now even Fords and Chryslers have them. They look like poop on a stick. And in dead last place - and eligible for mucho demerits - are installation of LEDs on a car that never came with them. If it turns your crank, then fine. To me, it looks like more me-too ghetto crap. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Yeah the black on black will be at our next meetup..we're planning to hit the one in falls church this sunday morning...as far as the LED's, yeah I've considered it as well...that guy is in Florida that does the mod..I've just been a little hesitant because all of those pics are from A4's or S4's, our RS4 has the Bi-Xenon with Adaptive lighting. Not sure if those cars have the adaptive lighting or not. When I asked the guy in Florida he says, its no issue...but that's just my two cents lol...but I do like the look of the LED's on the newer Audi's, this mod is almost as good I hope someone will actually make a OEM version for our cars.

Where is the Falls Church meetup? I just searched it and I didn't find anything, nothing on the Mid Atlantic forum either.

That's right around the corner from me, let me know when and where and I'll plan on meeting for sure.

Default RS4Ship, someone is trying to sell your car ;)

First congratulations on your car...it looks gorgeous. I also wanted to bring to everyone's attention a scam which is going on.

A few days ago I responded to an advertisement on Autotrade, anticipating the this was "too good to be true", since the car was an 07 RS4 listed for $19,900!

Yesterday I received a response from the "seller", supposed a Bryan Fitzgerald stating the following:

" The car is still for sale and the asking price is $19,500, it is registered on my name and the title is clear. I'm a pilot on cargo flights, and I away from home most of the time, so the car was barely driven as my wife does not have a license. I am selling cheaper than the rest as you can see because I need cash fast, as I need to pay for my wife's liver transplant, so please no loans or payments plans offers. Because I'm away most of the time I will not be able to deal in person, but I've already arranged the shipping and the title transfer anywhere in the US. I will pay the shipping fees. If you are still interested please email me back so I can explain how we can do this without me being present.

Thanks

PS: Here are some pics of the car:

"

I then asked to see the car...he then stated some sob story about his wife and that the car will be shipped for free anywhere and is currently in San Fran...well I responded back that I'm 30 minutes outside of San Fran (Pleasonton) and that to give me the address and I'll pay him...LOL

Well his response was priceless..."are you sure?"...haha...after that I reiterated that I was sure and that I'd like to drive to see the car right now. Since that time I've not received any further correspondence and that's been the end of it.

So if you all want to reach out to the scammer and tell them "hey I'm interested in the car you've got for sale"...let's all waste his time as much as he plans on wasting our hard earned money His email is as follows: Bryan Fitzgerald

Take care and I just wanted you to be aware that it looks like even RS4 owners/buyers aren't safe from scammers!

Those photos were recently posted on either this or QW forum by a proud new owner. Turn the scammer into the authorities.

Stuff like that has been going on for at least 5 years now..especially on Craiglist....be careful...I always know how to spot 'em cuz there's never a phone number and there's always a "out of town" story....

Default here's the person's email - mntx221@hotmail.com

He had the usual sad story "out of country...wife sick...car to be shipped free"...we've seen it all before, but just found it ironic that it was the exact same car as someone on this forum had just bought

WTF...That's my car for sale on Autotrader! The previous owner actually called me and said someone had reached out to him about the car being for sale on Autotrader. I have the car titled and registered in my name, so I don't think I'm in any danger. But anyone trying to buy MY car will get totally F'ed.
