Unhappy 2009 a4 quattro ignition problems at 70k miles- HELP

I need some help with this issue--any advise is greatly appreciated.

I've got nearly 70k miles on my a4 and every now and then it will have difficulty turning over. It's so strange because of the rate at which the problem occurs. For example, it happened last night but it didn't happen prior to that for like two weeks. Last night took me 3 times to finally get it turned over which is the longest this has ever taken.

I've also been reading about oil consumption problems with this model. My check engine light is on as well as the oil light but I'm up to date on all my check ups...

anyone have any idea what the problem is?
