Roughly what 'discount' off MSRP are people getting? - Page 3

West coast. Special order arriving this month. Prestige, Innovation, 20 Inch sport. I'm paying invoice.
We have many dealers around here and I did everything through their respective internet sales people. I never let them focus on MSRP, I always start the discussion from their cost and worked up. I might have gotten lucky as there is a lot of dealer competition here, I was willing to drive an hour and 1/2 to work with a dealer that is not in the same town as me, and I made it really clear I did not need a car ASAP, so I was not in a rush to do a deal - it needed to be the right deal.

Does anyone know where to find invoice? I am in the bay area and I got a quote for Prestige, LED, 20" wheels, Side Assist and cold weather. MSRP is 72,780. I have not begun looking at other dealers yet.

I am not aware of the Costco/Amex discounts. Do you have more information about that?

If you subtract the destination charge of $875 and multiply the balance by .94 you get the invoice price.

Sonnen in Marin did a trucar price deal on a new A7 for me. Good price.

Go to Edmunds.com and you will get invoice price... I leased mine at invoice and I ordered exactly what I wanted.

I'm in Durham, NC. Bought the vehicle at a dealership in Raleigh. I got a flat 6% discount off of MSRP from the company I work for. Car was still on the boat when I put down a deposit for it. Was one of the easiest buying experiences I've ever had.
