Default Brake Pad recommendations?

Hey RS4 Team,

Which brake pads do you guys recommend? OEM? I just bought the OEM rotors..and I just want a good pad that you guys recommend. I've heard that the stock ones are the best...but i've heard others say they like others for less brake dust and cheaper price....THANKS!!!

Stock are expensive and dust really bad but they work. Stoptechs are popular. I like Centric Posi Quiet because they're almost completely dustless. I have them at all four corners on both Audis. I suggest you take a look at the Zeckhausen Racing website. Dave Z. knows more about brakes than anybody I know plus he's honest and fair.

Porterfield R4-S. Had them on my STI. Low dust, great bite, and no sqeal. Decently aggressive pad that doesnt chew through your rotors either.

It all depends on how you intend to use them - street, track, wet weather, etc. And how much of a fuss-**** you are with the whole clean wheel thing.

are these the prices for both rotors on front or back?

F-$140

R-$53

63-104-1029

63-104-1018

Seems very very cheap. I have changed brake pads on my Corvette in the past. Is it hard to change the pads on the RS4?

I've been running these
TRW, oem equivilent, non-metallic
good cold, easy on rotors, dusty though
price is right, change every 25-30K

Thanks...I don't see the sensor in the pics..but i'm sure it's there since it's listed in the title..I'll try the other ones first since everyone says they like them...and it's less dust... which I will love...If those don't work out..I'll try these OEM equivalents
