99 front pads&tire size

New to the audi world.
I was looking for front brake pads for 99 audi a6 and in the process was noticing that they are listing tire size for brake pads .
99 audi a9 quattro they list tire size 215/55/r16 .
Why do they list tire size is my question.
I just got this audi and it has 205/55/r16.
Is this correct for this car.

pad has no relation to tire size. Find out what caliper you have, or let them search by VIN.
