Default car chugs, possible isv?

I have a 2005 3.2 a6 and it seems to chug after a cold start. the rpms flucuate for maybe 5 seconds and then is fine. Ive been looking around on the forum and it seems the isv may be the problem. any help on where the isv is on this engine? also any other possible causes? thanks.
