Default LED's in fog lamp

Did anyone ever figure out a sure-fire replacement for the halogen fog bulbs to led's? I had enough of the bulb out warnings when I put in the rs6 headlamps till I got the coding correct.

Thanks!
Bob

I looked at doing this but I couldn't find a set of LED H11 bulbs that I felt were good quality. I'm probably going to take the HID route.

I didn't get the converted ones. I did it the old fashioned way, rewiring and coding. I thought our cars took the H7 bulb in the fog. I am also going to wire in the RS6 fog on a relay. Krusty, did you hook up your fogs in the headlamps with yours in the lower grilles? What bulb in the h/l fog so it doesn't look too yellow with the led's fired?

Thanks,
Bob

I have the square ones (2009MY) and according to the Sylvania chart, it takes H11. Previous versions show H7.

Are you talking about the instructions he sent with the rs6 headlight called "Wire connecting for parking light in front bumper with headlights connector for US cars For AUDI A6 2004-2010"? The PDF document with 2 little cables/pins ?

If so, i didn't do it yet because i didnt receive the cables/instructions at first. I had to ask few questions.

Also, leds on one headlight stopped working. I had to send it back to Poland... 133$ shipping, ouch!

He didnt receive it yet... Will re-install everything next summer

No, I bought oem ones from a European Audi dealer. Now I am looking to get a RS6 bumper/spoiler and lower grilles. You think the $133. was bad for shipping.......
