Default Nav: Google Earth = No POI's?

Took me awhile, but I finally noticed there were no POI's showing on the nav screen when I had the Google Earth topo going. The first couple times I figured I had done something to turn them off, so yesterday made sure I was in an area that had a few when the nav first came up and was showing its 'normal' view. After saying yes to the online connection, when the Google info came in the POI's all disappeared.

Bummer. Maybe someone can find a setting I'm missing; nice as the topo view is, I'd usually rather have the POI's.

I noticed this too and it eventually made me turn the google overlay off... not sure if there is any way to get them to work together. I'm also disappointed with the VERY few street names that show up... any way to get more street names?

No idea what determines whether a street name is shown but not sure I'd want more due to clutter. Maybe based on scale. I agree with you, not having the POI's makes the overlay data much less useful. But, you can turn it off...

Related note, I'm not seeing anything for updates from Navteq later than 2009 for Audi's. Audi of America said the 2012's have the "latest" version of map data, but looks like that could be a couple years old.
