It would be great to link to patinsd's post halfway through that shows the diamond grill route as well (options for people).
+1 this is the first thread that came to mind when the word sticky came up.

For example:

B8 S4 DIY Section: (All items hyperlinked to corresponding thread).

Engine and exhaust:
Oil change
Used Oil Analysis thread
Dipstick install
Engine air filter replacement
Motman break in technique
Exhaust shootout thread
.
.
.
etc...

Next post could be the B8 S4 Purchasing section (with motoman technique also in that section), then Recall/TSB Section, then whatever else.

Fill in the blanks, add links and it's most of the way done
EDIT: I did not see this post until later. This is DEFINITELY the way to go...

Just looked at that. About the same thing, nicely organized. Easier to have it at the top of the B8 S4 forum for easy access. Or sticky a link to a B8 S4 wiki.

Used to go to Vortex a lot back in my Jetta days: Super convenient layout for the FAQ stuff.

That exhaust shootout thread

Something on the seats (I'll need to search for the one I am thinking.) and/or Alacantra

Sport Diff

Any recall threads (water pump?)

I like what Dr Bryan is listing...

Plus something on the drive-select... how is it... what versions... etc.

I know these threads are out there... can provide links later.

When I have time I'll edit my above post to include links for what I can find. Is it OK if a link goes to another website or forum? Not sure if they are all on this site but I think I've seen just about all of them at one time or another.

I second the suggestion from dr bryan.

This is a fairly good example of a nicely laid out Wiki, if it has to be a Wiki, which could show as one locked thread/link at the top of B8 S4 forum.

http://wiki.audiworld.com/index.php/B5_A4

This is also fairly good example;

http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...esources-Guide

It needs moderating, to prevent the excess entropy.

OK, I've put links up to most of the stuff in my list. If you find missing links, post em up and I'll add them. Then maybe Zerin can copy paste it all into a new sticky.

looking great

biggest annoyance that i find in every wheel thread is the lack of info on weight!
if i do swap wheels i want to know how much they weigh compared to stock. Also, which wheels clear brake setups and what kind etc

also rotor replacement and pad replacements on stock setups

does weight make that much difference? you should be able to google any wheel weight given the exact wheel if you can click the mouse.
