The closed throttle switch is adjusted by the mounting of the TPS...rotates on it's adjustable mounting.

A new sensor would have to be adjusted, too. Yours may just need to be rotated a bit(?). That's if you're sure the throttle body & cable (and cruise control cable) are allowing full movement and closure of the throttle body.

I have no personal experience with this...mine is electronic throttle (no cable).

I'm guessing, but it's probably worth a try.

Here's the Bentley procedure...much of it requires Vag testing equipment, but some does not...and might give you a better understanding of the adjustment.
Hope this helps.

I have done done the adjustment for the TPS sensor and the "Click " is clicking when the throttle is off and the code is cleared but i have a new code P1507 Idle Sys.Learned Value Lower Limit Attained .and the idle now doesn't go below then 1000 rpm .Do i need to replace the IAC Valve ? or is there something i am missing ?

Well, Bentley says to check it...might be worth trying to clean it out with carb clean (or similar).

There's some indication that a Vagcom reading could be in order...don't know if some "adaptation" is needed (or possible?)

...beyond my knowledge and what I can find in the manual.

I have Clean it Again as you mentioned to me with carb cleaner and Wd-40 and relocated the TPS sensor as it was from the factory (yellow Marker ) and the car runs perfect now no Fault codes on the engine Expect for the O2 sensors 1 for bank 1 and bank2 that i will replace them .
But as you mentioned earlier the CTS does not have any relation with my TOT sensor fault code because i reset all fault and after driving for about an hour only the TOT Fault code appears so now i Have to replace the harness inside the Trany and will report if it works (hopeffuly it will)

thank you for your support and help

Thanks for the follow-up.
Info and suggestions in these threads mean nothing without the results.
Please let us know about the trans code, too.
Cheers

Regarding the TOT Sensor last week my mechanic managed to change only the sensor from the harness connector and the car was running great and the code was gone . Until last night the same code appeared again P0711 .i dont know what to do now ,and on full throttle changing from 3rd to 4th gear it begins to go very harsh (i think it slips then change to 4th ) the oil is new and the old oil was not very bad either but i changed it when i change the TOT sensor .
Please Help because i don't have any clue what to do now ?

I believe you may have been hand a line from this "mechanic". Have never heard of the TOT sensor being replaced without the harness...don't why he would do that or where he could have sourced JUST the sensor.
The fact that the code came back would make me NOT believe that...he likely tried to disconnect it, thinking it would kill the code...and now the TCM is looking for it...just a guess.

Anyway, that sensor likely has nothing to do with your shifting problems...Tozo would know infinitely more about that than I would.
