Default Dash Bezel Removal...

Anyone here familiar with removing the silver bezel which surrounds the MMI screen?

I cannot find a clear cut answer and it is not similar to the a6 removal process.

by looking at it, it seems like the ch changer needs to be removed and the center vent then can be removed then get access to the t15 torx nut that holds in the bezel.

can anyone confirm or provide info?

The centre vent just pulls out, according to ELSA.

Get a flashlight down the inside of the vent and you should see a hole, one each side. A hook tool is used to latch in those holes and then pull it straight out.

I can't find anything that says how to get the bezel off though...

apparently you need a certain vas tool to push the tabs down to pull out the center vent.

has anyone done it with out the specific tool?
